Landmark strategy launches new era for international education in Western Australia

 

On Tuesday 23 October 2018, the Premier Mark McGowan and Education and Training Minister, Sue Ellery, launched the State’s plan to attract thousands more international students to Western Australia – Where bright futures begin: International Education in Perth, Western Australia 2018-2025.

 

The strategy, developed in partnership with StudyPerth, will guide future government and industry action focused on growing the number of students from around the world coming to study in Perth, Western Australia.

SKILLED MIGRATION FOR INTERNATIONAL GRADUATES

 

The best and brightest international graduates from Western Australian universities can now apply for skilled migration under the State Government’s new Graduate Occupation List.

 

The Graduate Occupation List has been established as part of the State Nominated Migration Program. International graduates – PhD, Masters, Honours, Bachelors and other university graduates from Western Australia – can now apply for Western Australian State nomination under the State Nomination Migration Program via the new Graduate Occupation List.
